What is Community Education at Dixie State University?

Community Education gardening ad The program reflects a collaborative learning environment created through the combined entities of Dixie State University, the City of St. George, and the Washington County School District.

This program allows community members and students the use of public school beyond the regular school day as well as more than a dozen other locations throughout the community. Whether your interests lie in foreign language, scouting merit badges, personal enrichment, dance, the arts, health and fitness, or computers, this program offers a variety of non-credit enrichment classes and community services to all ages of the general public. Participants select classes and activities designed to satisfy personal desires for self-improvement, job skills, recreation and/or social interaction.
