Digital Photography

This class will teach all you ever wanted to know about digital cameras, understanding pixels and how they are stored in files on your computer. You will learn how to edit and manage your photo collection as well as ways to save your digital images. You will learn what F-Stop, shutter speed, focal length, color balance and what ISO mean. And as a bonus, you will be introduced to digital printing. Our instructor has a vast knowledge of cameras, and experience in the field of photography, photoshop and the development of software used in companies such as Kodak and Quicken. Come and sharpen your skills to be used in this beautiful area we live in.

Martin Nohr

Martin has worked as a news photographer, freelancer, and in the digital photography industry most of his working life. If you've ever printed pictures at Costco, Walgreens or Walmart, you've used the technology that Martin helped develop! Martin was an "early adopter" and began using digital cameras in 1995 - eventually acquiring one of the first Canon EOS digital cameras. Martin has served as a beta tester for Adobe Lightroom and a professor of Photoshop at DeAnza College in California.

Payment: Course payment is due at time of registration. If payment is not made, the course will be automatically dropped from the student's schedule within 48 hours.

Minimum Enrollment: In order to better serve our customers, a minimum enrollment must be met. You will be notified 2 business days before the first class meeting if the class will be canceled due to low enrollment. Refunds for canceled classes will be issued promptly and no refund fee will be charged. If the class carries, registration will continue until the first class session.

Refund Policy: Please notify us two (2) business days prior to the class start date for a refund. Refunds requested less than 2 days prior may be assessed a refund fee of $10. After class begins, you may request a refund in the form of a credit to your account. All account credits expire at fiscal year-end on June 30.
